Hebron Elementary School participated in the Indiana Literacy Cadre during the 2023-24 and 2024-25 school years. The Indiana Literacy Cadre is a statewide initiative providing professional development, coaching, and support to K-3 educators to improve early literacy skills across Indiana. Its work focuses on implementing evidence-based practices aligned with the Science of Reading to help all students become proficient readers. The main goal is to significantly increase the percentage of Indiana students who pass the IREAD-3 assessment, aiming for 95% proficiency by 2027.
